Thermal delay
Cellulose Wadding has a very good thermal delay that:
- provides excellent thermal insulation in winter,
- protects against summer heat,
- preserves the cold evening air.
Thermal delay corresponds to the time it takes for temperature exchange to take place between the inside and the outside of a building.
Cellulose Wadding is able to store and diffuse heat (in one way or another) no less than 5 times as long as glass wool.
Time-lag can take up to 16 hours. The high noon temperature enters the indoor rooms during the cold evening hours.
Result: A low and very stable temperature curve.
