Sound insulation

Cellulose Wadding has an outstanding sound absorption power. It therefore provides an effective solution to acoustic nuisance, particularly in the places where the air-transmitted noises can be a problem for those who have to live or work in adjacent rooms.

Indeed, airborne sound waves are constrained by the elastic and fibrous texture of cellulose wadding and turned into friction.

Cellulose Wadding should be placed directly on the interior/exterior wall facing and on the wall studs and the air space should be completely filled without pressure for better efficiency. This is the reason why nr Gaïa has chosen to apply cell wadding by insufflating into the walls.
