nr Gaïa : Who are we?

nr Gaïa manufactures and distributes cellulose wadding (ecowool). It thus takes a proactive role in preserving resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and above all contributing to home improvement.nr Gaïa has developed vegetal-based insulation products such as hemp and flax.

The French production unit for nr Gaïa cellulose wadding is located at Norske Skog’s Golbey pulp and paper mill. The unit has a production capacity of 30 000 tons. At present, nr Gaïa exports to all European markets.

Norske Skog is the world’s largest producer of newsprint and magazine paper, with 14 mills around the world. The most important cellulose production unit, situated in Epinal (France), uses 500 000 tons of recycled paper.

nr Gaïa produces cell wadding for attics (unoccupied attic space), roofs (slopes) and walls. Cellulose Wadding is used for both indoor thermal insulation and outdoor thermal insulation. Eco-friendly thermal insulation is nr Gaïa’s main activity.
